Chianti is not just a wine: it is a way of perceiving life.
Chianti is made by the looks and the hands of the people grinding with their fingers the earth in which the roots of the vines sink, by those who patiently watch the wine grapes growing day by day.
Among golden fields and colors blending into the countryside, a wine made of passion grows and matures, collecting the flavors and aromas of a unique territory: all these flavors will be given off to the sound of an uncorking bottle, and will melt on your lips, when they will be brought together to taste its richness.
The San Lorenzo a Linari winery offers the Chianti Classico from the Tenuta di Trecciano Estate, a lively ruby red DOCG wine with purple nuances
Just a few kilometers far from the residence of San Lorenzo, in the ancient town of Sovicille, you will find the Tenuta di Trecciano Estate, located in a wonderful red earth valley farmed with vineyards and olive groves.
The microclimate of this area creates a unique ecosystem suitable for the farming of Sangiovese vineyards, the main grape variety at the base of the Chianti wine, and for Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc, Merlot and Syrah wine.
The medium-compact soil consisting mainly of a silt-clay mixture, combined with the sun exposure of the vineyard, produces medium-sized bunches of grapes.
The intense nose resulting wine presents hints of strawberry, ripe black cherry, and violet, and leads to unimaginable experiential paths: the freshness and sweetness hinted in the aroma are balanced by the strong and fresh taste on the palate.
Properly tannic, the Chianti Classico of the Tenuta di Trecciano Estate goes well with the typical dishes of the region: cold cuts, first courses and meats prepared in a simple way.
The “terroir”, intended as an indissoluble combination among soil, grape variety, and human intervention, finds in this wine one of its best expressions.
